SALONI SAKHARDANDE
Having specialized in Cinematography from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, Saloni Sakhardande has worked on numerous projects, assisting in cinematography & direction, also having written, directed, edited & shot two short films to have been screened at international film festivals. 1st AC & 2nd Unit DOP are the most recent roles donned by her, in addition to shooting independent documentaries wherein lies her utmost interest.

“Studying light and trying to replicate reality is still an ongoing process for me. Having worked with gaffers and grip teams, I find the need to have more practice to gain confidence in these faculties, which will help me hone my work as a Cinematographer. I feel it is very essential that both genders be equally represented in any field. Filmmaking is all about storytelling whose essence lies in diversity, and thus it is high time we see what the world is through the eyes and words of women. Really excited to be onboard!”
